vOps

Every acre, aircraft, and invoice in one place.

vOps is the software we built to run our own application business. Work orders, fleet, pilots, compliance, and billing. It carries a job from the phone call to the paid invoice.

Who built it

Built inside a working application business.

Most software for this industry comes from one side or the other, engineers who have never seen a field or applicators who had to hire out the building. That is why it either does not understand the work or does not survive a season of it. vOps is built by a company that does both jobs, so nothing about it gets handed across a gap.

Run on our own jobs first

Every workflow in vOps was laid out against how our own days actually run, then put through a full season of our own work orders before it went near another operation. Where the software disagreed with how a day goes, the software is what got changed.

Built to a standard farm software usually is not

vOps is engineered the way large-scale systems are engineered, where an outage or a lost record is not something you talk your way out of afterward. That is an odd place for farm software to start, and it is the standard vOps still gets held to. You can see it in the parts you never have to think about.

The work order lifecycle

One record follows the job the whole way through.

Nothing gets re-keyed between the phone call and the invoice, because it is all the same record.

  1. Request

A customer calls. You log the field, the acreage, the crop, and the chemical while you are still on the phone.

  2. Schedule

Drag it onto the calendar, assign pilots and aircraft, and check the forecast against your own flyability thresholds.

  3. Fly

The flight log captures pilot, drone, field, GPS track, weather at the time, the mix, and the spray parameters.

  4. Invoice

The invoice is generated from the work order you already completed. Export the PDF or send it, then track it to paid.

What is in it

The modules an applicator actually needs.

Not a generic field-service tool with a crop-spraying skin. Every module below exists because a job needed it.

Work orders

Request, schedule, assign pilots and aircraft, capture weather, complete, invoice. Multi-field and multi-pilot jobs are first-class.

Customers and fields

Customer records with their fields attached. Acreage, crop type, GeoJSON boundaries, and a map.

Fleet

FAA registration, tank and payload specs, flight hours, firmware, maintenance logs, and service intervals that warn you before they lapse.

Pilots and compliance

Part 107 and Part 137, applicator licenses, medicals, insurance, and aircraft registrations. All of it with expiry tracking.

Invoicing

Invoices built from completed work orders, exported as PDFs, tracked through draft, sent, paid, and overdue.

Scheduling

A calendar with drag-and-drop, tied back to the work order it came from.

Products and tank mix

Chemical, seed, fertilizer, and adjuvant inventory with EPA registration, SDS links, lot numbers, and per-crop rates. There is a mix calculator in there too.

Parts and inventory

Equipment, parts, and supplies with stock levels, a transaction ledger, and reorder alerts.

Weather and flyability

Live conditions checked against your own wind, temperature, and humidity limits. Not somebody else's.

Flight logs

Pilot, drone, field, GPS track, weather snapshot, chemical recipe, and spray parameters, logged per flight.

Incidents

Safety incidents with severity, FAA notification tracking, corrective actions, and root cause.

Reports

Revenue by period, acreage by job type, pilot flight hours, and drone utilization.

Dashboard

Open it in the morning and know what needs attention.

Revenue and acreage charts, a weather widget with your flyability thresholds already applied, and the two alerts that actually cost money if you miss them: stock running low, and a certification about to expire.

  • Revenue by period, and acreage split by job type
  • Weather scored against your own wind and temperature limits
  • Low stock and certification expiry alerts on the front page

Compliance

Certifications stop living in a folder in the truck.

Part 107 and Part 137, state applicator licenses, medicals, insurance, and aircraft registrations, each with an expiry date the system watches for you. Every change is written to an audit log that cannot be edited, with a field-level diff, so you can always show what changed and when.

  • Expiry tracking with alerts before the lapse, not after
  • Immutable audit log with field-level diffs
  • Documents attached to the pilot or aircraft they belong to

Getting paid

The invoice is already written by the time the job is done.

The work order already carries the fields, the acreage, the pilots, and the rates. So the invoice gets generated instead of typed. Export the PDF, send it from the app, and track it through to paid.

  • Generated from the completed work order, not retyped
  • PDF export with your own logo and template
  • Draft, sent, paid, and overdue tracked per invoice

Also included

The parts nobody puts on a feature list.

CRM

Campaigns, follow-ups, an inquiry inbox, duplicate detection, and custom fields on your grower records.

Quotes

Build a quote, send it, and turn the accepted one into a work order.

Checklists

Pre-flight and maintenance checklists, with a record of every run.

Co-ops

Group growers under a co-op so acreage and billing roll up the way the relationship actually works.

Customer portal

A link your grower can open to see their own jobs, without an account to manage.

Bulk import

Bring in what you already have from CSV, Excel, PDF, or KML.

Document templates

Edit the work order, invoice, and price list PDFs so they come out looking like yours.

Knowledge base

Help articles inside the app, so the answer is where the question is.

Pricing

Billing is handled inside vOps. Start on the free demo and upgrade when it is earning its keep.

No card required.

Under the hood

Boring where it should be boring.

Your data is yours

Every tenant is isolated by row-level security. The database itself enforces it, not a filter somebody might forget to write.

Accounts built for a crew

Secure sessions with CSRF protection, account lockout, rate limiting, and email verification.

Managed cloud infrastructure

Backups, patching, and scaling are handled continuously. None of it is your evening job.

An audit trail that cannot be edited

Field-level diffs on every change. That is what you want the day somebody asks what the rate was.

Support from the people flying

We fly the same work you do. When you email support it reaches the people running those jobs and the people who build the software.

Help inside the app

A knowledge base built into vOps, so nobody has to go hunting for a PDF.

Questions

Before you sign up

Do I have to be a Verdant spray customer to use vOps?

No. vOps is sold on its own and most of the operations running on it are not ours. We built it for our own business, which is why it fits the work, but it is not tied to us in any way.

Can I bring across what I already have?

Yes. The importer takes CSV, Excel, PDF, and KML, which covers customer lists, field boundaries out of a mapping tool, and most of what comes out of a spreadsheet.

Does it work on a phone in the field?

Yes. vOps is a website, not an app. It runs in whatever browser is already on the phone, so there is nothing to install and nothing to keep updated across a crew.

How does billing work?

Inside vOps. Monthly or yearly, switch between them whenever you like and the difference is prorated, and cancel yourself from the billing portal. The store you are reading this on never touches a subscription payment.

What are the limits on Full Access?

There are none on customers, fields, drones, pilots, equipment, work orders, invoices, flight logs, compliance documents, or incidents. The free demo caps those so you can try it out. Full Access takes the caps off.

Try it against your own fields.

The free demo takes a minute to set up and does not ask for a card.
